Proportionate consent, privacy, safeguarding, incident/adverse-event and complaint arrangements are in place.
Controlled processes, trained people and suitable facilities/equipment; the centre learns from incidents or audit.
Evidence is reviewed and clinical, laboratory, research or service quality is monitored, appropriate to scope.
Public information does not overstate evidence, regulation, “stem cells”, certification, outcomes or IAMRegen endorsement; relevant conflicts are declared.
The centre supports the Visiting Fellowship pathway and provides at least one IAMRegen MDT, teaching or case/science contribution each year.

Each is recognised in one of three scopes — Clinical, Laboratory or Combined. The public register shows the designation, scope, lead Fellow, country, standard version and validity dates — for example: “IAMRegen Centre of Excellence — Clinical — valid until [date].” Recognition must never be described as regulatory approval, a guarantee of outcome or certification of every practitioner or treatment.

What is an IAMRegen Centre of Excellence?
A clinic or laboratory recognised by IAMRegen under a published standard (governance, safety, quality, evidence, education and transparency). It comes in three scopes — Clinical, Laboratory or Combined. Recognition is voluntary and time-limited.
How recognition works →Is this regulatory accreditation or certification?
No. Recognition is not regulatory approval, a licence to practise, a clinical recommendation, a guarantee of outcome or a certification of every practitioner, product or treatment connected with a centre. It is a professional recognition under a published standard.

A centre completes one short application against the seven essential checks with up to five supporting evidence items, then joins a 30–45 minute conversation with two unconflicted reviewers. There is no routine site inspection.

A €100 administration and brand-licence fee covers the two-year term. It is payable only after approval and does not purchase or upgrade status.

Fellow-led clinics and laboratories, with a current IAMRegen Fellow accountable as lead. Recognition is time-limited and entered on the public register; it may be suspended or withdrawn for material non-compliance or misleading claims, with a right of appeal within 20 working days.
